A human resource professional with over 35 years experience in various sectors of the human resource industry.
Work experience includes:
- Managing and supervising work units and teams of people, often in difficult or dangerous conditions.
- Designing and delivering projects dealing with training program design and development of human resources
- Designing and implementing programs emphasizing quality control, audit and accountability in organizations
- Designing human and institutional capacity improvement initiatives
- Conducting organization analyses to improve organizational performance
- Developing adult education programs
Tom Janisch, MHRD, MA, PMP, CPT
Tom has over 35 years experience in various public sector and non-profit organizations. His experience ranges from leading money laundering investigations into activities of criminal organizations and leading process re-engineering of training in a national police organization, to designing and implementing various organizational performance improvement initiatives in other organizations. He has worked in both an internal and external consulting role capacity.
Tom has a BSc. in Zoology and a BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and he has a MA in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University (through the Leadership Institute of Seattle – LIOS). He has a Master of Human Resource Development degree from the University of Regina, and is currently enrolled there in a doctoral program in education, specializing in HRD.
He obtained a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute and the Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) designation through the International Society for Performance Improvement. He speaks German and English, and random phrases of a few other languages.
